Here's a bit about the team behind Capto.
Marchela georgieva • co-founder & coo
Marchela is Capto’s co-founder and COO. She leads the team responsible for business analysis of company processes across Europe, and the USA. With over 7 years of experience at PwC London, Marchela has extensive financial audit experience in Banking & Capital Markets having worked with some of the world’s largest banks such as JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, and Bank of America.
Marchela has years of FS experience working with Private Equity funds across Europe on diverse Private Client tax consultancy projects before deciding to take a swift turn towards programming and Robotic Process Automation.
Outside of work, Marchela is an avid solo traveler having traveled solo across Europe, Southeast Asia, Nepal, and South America. She’s also a passionate mountain hiker who has hiked solo in the Himalayas and Patagonia, a photographer, a travel writer, and a yogi.
Alexis Chevallot • Co-founder & CEO
Bringing years of experience in technology from Beijing, Los Angeles, Boston, Luxembourg, and London, Alexis first joined Deloitte in Paris to create a digital transformation arm of the firm. The goal was to disrupt the Big4 model through a focus on technology and collaboration. He joined PwC Lux to lead the implementation of data transformation projects across Europe and the Middle East.
With extensive knowledge of implementing automation using a wide range of technologies (i.e. OCR, ETL & RPA), Alexis helped PwC’s team in London transform the accounting departments of some of the largest companies in the city. Alexis then moved on to create Capto with the personal goal to save 1 billion boring hours.
When he is not automating client processes, you can often find him on the water taking a sailing course, watching a history documentary or traveling around in search of new cultures and remote places.
